What to Sort Out Before the Date Is Announced
Matriculation is a registration checkpoint as much as a ceremony. Your name normally appears on the matriculation list only after school fees are cleared and course registration is complete, so settle both well ahead of any announced date.
Collect your academic gown early. Gowns are issued through faculty secretaries in limited numbers, and students who leave it until the week of the ceremony often find sizes gone.
Keep your admission letter, fee receipt and matriculation number together. These are the documents most commonly requested at the venue, and producing them quickly saves a long wait in the verification queue.
We congratulate all new students and wish them outstanding success in their academic pursuits.

Watching for the Harry Pass Polytechnic Date
No date has been published yet for the 2026/2027 ceremony. Until the polytechnic releases one, the useful work is preparation rather than waiting, since the announcement often leaves only a short window.
Attendance is mandatory, which makes the ceremony a condition of your standing rather than an optional celebration. Treat a clash with travel or work as something to resolve in advance.
Your faculty secretary is the right point of contact for gowns and the other formalities, and the same office usually knows about timing before a general notice goes out.
Check the polytechnic notice board and your student portal regularly in the meantime, and make sure fees and course registration are already behind you when the date lands.
