Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Results 2025

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), as mandated by law, conducts entrance examinations for various universities, polytechnics, colleges, and other tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

Candidates who participated in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) held between Saturday, 6th May, and Sunday, 15th May [Year] can now access their results online or via SMS.

How to Check 2025 JAMB Result

Candidates have two methods for checking their JAMB results:

• Online Option: Access your results through the JAMB portal online. This option is entirely free; all you need is an internet-enabled device to check your result.
• SMS Option: For candidates without internet-enabled devices or those in areas with poor network connectivity, the SMS option is available. However, please note that network providers will charge for using this service.

As of this publication, the JAMB results for [Year] have not been uploaded online. Candidates can currently check their results only via SMS. The Board has not made them available on its website for obvious reasons.

Check JAMB Result Offline (via SMS)

All candidates can now send UTMERESULT (without spacing) via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the same number used for registration (you must have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line).

The result would be replied to you as an SMS shortly after.

The following are the responses to be expected:

• If a candidate uses a phone number that was not used to register, a message will be sent to him thus: ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”
• A candidate with a result will receive the message: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).
• A “Result Withheld” message will be sent to the candidate if a result is withheld.
• Suppose a candidate belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt. In that case, the message to the person will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
• If a candidate were absent, s/he would get “CANDIDATE ABSENT” as feedback
• A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
• “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.

Check JAMB Result Online

• STEP 1: Visit the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) result-checking portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResults
• STEP 2: Supply your Registration Number/Phone Number in the required column
• STEP 3: Finally, Click on the ‘Check My Results’ button to access your UTME results notification

The portal will return your JAMB Notification of Result if your result is ready. You can then proceed with printing the result.

Print Original JAMB Result Slip

The JAMB result in slip costs N1,000 (one thousand naira only) and comes with passport photography affixed to it.
