The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a service program for all Nigerian youth who have graduated from a higher institution, including Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges.
For all of its members, this service program has a one-year duration.
Procedures For NYSC Membership Cancellation
NYSC Membership Cancellation can only be possible if a Candidate has not been deployed to serve in any state.
If a candidate’s name appears on the Senate list, and he/she has registered fully for the program, then differing or canceling the NYSC program can be very much easy.
All you have to do is defer the service program to a more suitable batch or year of your choice.
Note: After registration, the program can only be differed or canceled once and not twice or thrice.
Those members who showed up in their respective NYSC Camps but dropped out due to some unavoidable reasons are being urged to fill in the NYSC Remobilization bio-data form.
Here are the steps to do so
- Go to the NYSC official page for Remobilization.
- Fill out the necessary columns with your NYSC information (name, email, previous call-up letter, etc.).
- The credentials must match those you used to register for NYSC in the previous batch.
- After filling in the necessary information, tap the “Save Record” button.
