The administration of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), located in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, has officially disclosed the release of the admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who sat the post-UTME screening exercise and those who applied through Direct Entry are both covered by this release and can check their status online.
Two routes are set out below. The university portal uses your JAMB registration number with a password, while JAMB CAPS uses your JAMB profile login.
First-time users of the university portal should note that the initial password is the candidate surname, which is easy to overlook and a common cause of failed logins.
How to Check OOU Admission List Online
- Go to the OOU admission status-checking portal.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Password (For the first login, use your SURNAME as password) in the provided columns.
- Finally, click the “Login” button to access your OOU admission status.
Candidates successfully admitted into Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) first-degree programs are advised to:
- Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
- Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
- Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
- You can apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case you are offered courses different from the ones you initially applied for.
Alternatively, candidates can check the same decision on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below:
- To access your OOU admission status, visit the JAMB portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down, then locate and click the Check Admission Status tab.
- Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
- Finally, click on Check Admission Status to access your Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) admission status or click on ‘Access my CAPS‘ to access CAPS for Admission status and other related services.
Confirming Your OOU Ago Iwoye Admission
Accepting the offer on CAPS is the step that holds the place, and an offer left unanswered can be withdrawn while a candidate assumes it is settled.
Print the admission letter and original JAMB result slip once acceptance is recorded, since both are asked for during university clearance.
Candidates still waiting should confirm that their O-level results are correctly uploaded on CAPS, as incomplete records are a frequent reason a qualified applicant is passed over.
