This is an update on the academic calendar status for Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, for the 2026/2027 academic session.
We checked OOU’s official “Next Academic Session” page directly. As of this update, it says plainly that the 2026/2027 session is scheduled to commence later in the year and that a detailed calendar will be released closer to the start of the session.
Some school information sites are already circulating a full 2026/2027 calendar for OOU, down to specific registration and examination weeks for each level. We checked this against OOU’s own website and found a direct contradiction: the official page states no detailed calendar exists yet. Given that, we are not reproducing those dates on this page.
Where OOU’s Calendar Will Appear
OOU publishes its calendar through the Academic Calendar section of its official website once the Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of Senate, approves it. That’s the page to watch, along with the university’s verified communication channels, for registration, lecture, and examination dates once they’re confirmed.
