  • You must provide the letter of acceptance you received from the educational institution that you will be attending.
  • A letter of acceptance is issued by the country’s educational institution on official letterhead and shows the exact amount of tuition fees you are required to pay, the anticipated starting and finishing dates, and the date by which you need to register.

Here is a thorough but simplified guide on how to apply for a Sweden Student visa in Nigeria:

Gain Admission/Gather Documents

Apply to be admitted to the school you want to attend in Sweden. After you have secured your admission, you should download the residence permit visa application form. Fill out this form honestly and gather the other necessary documents.

Checklist / Procedure for Visa Application

  • Filled out and signed visa application form.
  • Original, signed Nigeria passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
  • Passport-type photograph.
  • Photocopies of the passport and ID card. The applicant must provide photocopies of the original passport and ID card, including copy of all visas (valid and expired).
  • Visa application form. Visa application form filled out in detail (block letters) and signed by the applicant.
  • Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.
