University of Mkar (UMM), Benue State, has its 2026/2027 application portal open, but the cut-off mark situation needs a little unpacking before you rely on a number.

UMM Cut-off Mark for 2026/2027
JAMB’s 2026 policy meeting fixed 150 as the national floor for university admission, and that’s the number UMM has to respect for actual admission, whatever threshold it sets for opening an application. Reports suggest UMM’s screening portal accepts applications starting from a baseline of 140, but that’s below the current national floor and would only serve as an entry point to register, not a guarantee of admission at that score. Don’t take 140 as the real cut-off; the national floor of 150 is what matters for whether you can actually be admitted.
You’ll also need at least five credit passes in relevant subjects from no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics.
