The University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor, has announced the deadline for the payment of school fees for the 2026/2027 academic session. The deadline follows weeks of low compliance after lectures began, prompting management to set a firm cutoff with a classroom-access penalty attached.
Full details of the deadline and the penalty for missing it are outlined below, including the exact date fee defaulters start losing lecture access. The circular applies uniformly across the university, so no faculty or level is exempted from the cutoff or the penalty that follows it.
This notice does not introduce any new fee amount. It only sets a firm payment window for the school fees students already owe for the 2026/2027 session, and spells out what happens if that window is missed.

UNIDEL School Fees Payment Deadline
The Management has observed that after more than five (5) weeks of commencement of lectures, most Students have yet to pay their school fees. In view of the above, all students are, by this circular, expected to pay their fees on or before 19th April 2026.
Similarly, Students are notified that with effect from 20th April 2026, fee defaulters will not be allowed to audit their lectures and will be allowed into the Classrooms only after presenting evidence of payment of their fees.
Paying Before UNIDEL’s April 19 Cutoff
UNIDEL has set April 19, 2026 as the final date to pay school fees for the 2026/2027 session, after more than five weeks of lectures had already passed with many students still unpaid. That gap between the start of lectures and the payment deadline is what triggered this circular in the first place.
From April 20, 2026, fee defaulters lose lecture access entirely and can only re-enter the classroom once they present evidence of payment, so settle your fees before that date to avoid losing instructional time.
If you are unsure how much you still owe, confirm your exact balance with the bursary rather than assume anything has changed. This circular addresses only the payment timeline, not the fee amount itself.
