UNIMED has released its official cut-off mark for the 2026/2027 admission session, fixed at 150. Candidates who put the school down on JAMB need to clear that figure before anything else on their admission checklist.
Candidates who are still unsure where they stand should treat UNIMED’s figure as the starting point for everything else in the admission process. This is the starting point for every candidate, no matter which department they eventually apply to.
UNIMED 2026/2027 JAMB Cut-off Mark
UNIMED’s general Post-UTME minimum cut-off mark for 2026/2027 is 150, in line with JAMB’s national floor for universities this cycle. Candidates who chose UNIMED as their first choice and scored 150 or above are eligible to apply for screening.
That said, 150 only gets you in the door.
UNIMED’s clinical and health science programmes are competitive, and admission in past cycles has run well above the floor for the sought-after courses: Medicine and Surgery has typically needed scores in the 250 range, Dentistry around 220, Doctor of Physiotherapy and Doctor of Pharmacy around 200, and Nursing Science around 180.

UNIMED Post UTME Eligibility
- Candidates who score at or above UNIMED’s cut-off mark
- Candidates who chose the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, as their preferred choice of institution during UTME registration
- Candidates who meet the required O’Level credits for their programme, as specified in the JAMB brochure
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old
- Candidates who didn’t choose UNIMED during UTME registration but want to study there should change their institution to UNIMED through the JAMB portal
