The O’Level requirement is five credits including English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, with any other subject completing the set.

Those credits must come from no more than two sittings, a condition applied when your results are verified rather than at registration.

The JAMB papers are Use of English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Every one of them is already a compulsory O’Level credit, so the UTME adds nothing new to prepare.

That leaves the score as the real work. Aim at 220 rather than the 200 university minimum, since the departmental figure is what decides this application.
