Entry Requirements

O’Level Subject Combination

  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry and three other subjects from below:
  • Physics
  • Book Keeping
  • Principles of Accounting
  • Economics/Commerce
  • Metal Work
  • Basic Electricity

  • At least a credit pass in English Language is compulsory

Mathematics and Chemistry are named at the top, with three more drawn from the group below and English Language made compulsory by the closing line.

That optional group is unusually mixed, offering Book Keeping, Principles of Accounting and Economics alongside Metal Work, Basic Electricity and Technical Drawing.

Printing sits between craft and commerce, and the subject list reflects that in a way most technology programmes do not.

Physics is compulsory in JAMB but only an option among the credits, while Chemistry works the other way round.

Craft and Commerce on the YABATECH Printing Technology List

Mathematics, Chemistry and English Language are the three fixed credits once the closing clause is counted, leaving two places from a list that spans accounting and workshop subjects.

Physics and Chemistry swap places between the two lists, so check each separately. Then make sure your JAMB score reaches 150 for the 2026/2027 session.
