The management of the University Of Ibadan (UI) has published the admission requirements for its Department of Nursing, covering the O’level credits, the UTME combination, the university JAMB cut-off and the departmental screening mark.

Nursing at UI is one of the harder places to win. The departmental screening mark is 250, fifty above the general university cut-off, and the subject conditions allow no substitutions at all.
Five O’level credits are named outright, and the UTME combination repeats four of them. Mathematics is required at O’level but does not appear among the UTME papers.
That leaves the screening exercise as the decisive stage, which is where most of the competition for places is settled.
The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.

Why 250 Decides UI Nursing Admission
The subject conditions here are straightforward to check. Five named O’level credits, four fixed UTME papers, and nothing optional anywhere in either list.
What actually separates applicants is the screening exercise. The department asks for 250 where the university asks for 200, so plan your preparation around the higher figure.
Confirm both marks and the subject lists with UI before you register, since the university reviews them between admission cycles.
