This article is designed for students who wish to study Urban and Regional Planning under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment, and Technology at Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY) Higher National Diploma (HND).
Confirm that Urban and Regional Planning is still listed at OSPOLY before you register for JAMB. Geography is the subject that decides this application, and two common Arts papers are specifically excluded.

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Urban and Regional Planning under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology at OSPOLY include;

The JAMB combination points back at the same list. Geography is fixed beside the compulsory English Language, and the other two papers come from the course requirement subjects.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Urban and Regional Planning if you do not intend to use UTME.
You require
Ospoly does not accept History and Government as course requirements. It, however, requires a credit in Geography.
That single line does two things. It confirms Geography as a compulsory credit, and it rules out two subjects that the general O Level list above appears to allow.
So a candidate who built a result around History or Government will not satisfy this department, however strong those grades are.
Jamb Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted to the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, for the 2026/2027 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored 120 or above in your JAMB result.

Why Geography Decides OSPOLY Urban and Regional Planning
Geography is required as an O Level credit, named again on the JAMB form and confirmed by the department remark. Mathematics and a credit in English Language sit alongside it.
The exclusion matters just as much. History and Government are not accepted as course requirements here, so check your five subjects against that before registering. The JAMB score needed is 120 or above for the 2026/2027 session.
