What Uniforms and Kitting Add for a Maritime Academy Cadet
The largest single charge on this schedule is not a registration fee at all. Uniforms and kitting come to 100,100 naira in the first semester, more than the four registration payments put together.
Those four registration fees total 77,300 naira across the programme, running 29,500 in the first semester, 11,500 in the second, 14,800 in the third and 21,500 in the fourth. The full published cost therefore reaches 177,400.
Feeding is handled differently again, through vouchers bought from vendors at the cadet refectory at 500 naira per meal, so it scales with how you eat rather than being fixed.
Uniform money goes to the tailors on arrival, but everything else must be paid into the valid school account, since the academy states it will not refund money sent elsewhere. Confirm your own programme figures on the MAN portal first.
