A Few Practical Tips
Watch Your JAMB Number. A surprisingly common reason a result or status check fails is a simple typo in the JAMB registration number. Double check every digit before you submit, since a single wrong character will return a blank or error page and make it look like nothing has been released yet.
Keep a Screenshot or Printout. Once your result, admission status, or screening slip loads on the portal, take a screenshot or print it immediately. Portals occasionally go offline for maintenance right after a release, and having your own copy saves you from repeating the whole process later.
Avoid Peak Hours on the Portal. Thousands of candidates try to check their status within hours of an announcement, which can slow school portals to a crawl or cause timeouts. If a page refuses to load, wait an hour or try again early the next morning rather than assuming something is wrong.
