Federal Polytechnic Bida (BIDAPOLY), Niger State, hasn’t published a verifiable 2026/2027 fee schedule on its own website that we could confirm.
What is circulating online is inconsistent. Some sources repeat the older per-programme figures below, while others quote tuition nearly 40 percent higher for the same courses, with neither version linking back to an official bursary page.
How Much Is BIDAPOLY School Fees?
For background, the previously confirmed grand totals by programme were as follows. Treat these as historical reference rather than this session’s figure, since Federal Polytechnic Bida reviews fees periodically and hasn’t posted an updated breakdown we could verify:
| Programme | Prior Grand Total (₦) |
| Pre-ENG, Sciences, Tech, and OTM | 62,500 |
| ND I (from Prep) Science | 53,500 |
| ND I (from JAMB) Science | 57,500 |
| ND I (from JAMB) Management | 55,500 |
| ND I Survey & Geoinformatics | 63,500 |
| HND I Engineering, Sciences, Tech, OTM | 55,500 |
| HND I Management Studies | 55,500 |
| HND I Survey & Geoinformatics | 61,500 |
| ND II / HND II (all tracks) | 46,000 |
Your safest move is to confirm the actual 2026/2027 figure through the bursary or your student portal once admission is confirmed, rather than paying based on a number from an aggregator site.
Other Compulsory Fees
These smaller charges have stayed fairly consistent across the sources we checked, so they’re more trustworthy than the tuition totals above:
- Insurance: ₦300 per session
- Student Union Government Fee: ₦500 per session
- Late Registration Penalty: ₦2,000
- Review of Examination Scripts: ₦150 per course
- SIWES Logbook: ₦300
- Academic Transcript: ₦2,000 within Nigeria, ₦5,000 outside Nigeria
- Certificate Issuance: ₦3,000 per certificate
- Add and Drop Form: ₦250 per form
How Much Is BIDAPOLY Acceptance Fee?
Multiple independent sources agree on ₦15,000 as the acceptance fee for new students, so this one is reasonably reliable. Still, confirm the exact amount on your own admission letter before paying, since it determines when you’re treated as a registered student.
How Much Is BIDAPOLY Hostel Fee?
Reported hostel accommodation fees range from ₦5,000 to ₦15,000 per bed space depending on the room category, with no single confirmed figure. Students who want a bed space need to apply through Student Affairs once admission is secured, and the room allocation determines the actual charge.

Why the Second Year Is Cheaper at Federal Polytechnic Bida
The clearest pattern in the old schedule is the drop after first year. ND II and HND II students on every track paid ₦46,000, against ₦53,500 to ₦63,500 for the various first-year entry routes.
Entry route mattered too. An ND I student coming through the preparatory programme paid ₦53,500 while one coming through JAMB paid ₦57,500 for the same science track, a difference of ₦4,000.
Survey and Geoinformatics sat highest in both ND and HND, at ₦63,500 and ₦61,500, which is consistent with the field and equipment work those programmes involve.
The smaller levies are the more dependable part of this page. Avoid the ₦2,000 late registration penalty, budget ₦250 for each add and drop form, and take your tuition figure from the bursary rather than from here.
