The College of Legal Studies, Yola (CLSYOLA) occasionally runs a “Summer Examination” to let students with pending spill-over courses clear their backlog outside the normal semester calendar.
We don’t have a confirmed date for a summer examination at CLSYOLA for the current session. A previous notice announced one following an extraordinary Academic Board meeting, but that specific date has passed and we can’t verify whether a new summer examination has been scheduled for 2026/2027. Students with pending spill-over courses should check directly with the Academic Affairs office or the school’s notice board for the current status.
Eligibility (General Policy)
Whenever a summer examination is held, students with pending spill-over courses are typically eligible to register so they can clear them.
All spill-over courses, whether from the first or second semester, can usually be registered together, and spill-over students are advised to use the opportunity to clear their backlog.
Current Diploma 1 and Diploma 2 students have historically been excluded from this arrangement, so check with the registrar if that applies to you.
