Coastal Polytechnic, based at Magbon on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, has not published a clean 2026/2027 fee schedule we could verify.
We checked coastalpoly.edu.ng directly and found the fees page broken. It serves mismatched content copied from an unrelated private university’s template rather than Coastal Polytechnic’s own figures.
That is a site error on their end, not a rate card. Any Naira figure pulled from that page at the moment belongs to a different institution entirely.
Coastal Polytechnic School Fees: Where Things Stand
Newly admitted and returning students should confirm fees directly with the bursary rather than relying on the broken public fees page. You can reach the school on +234 813 815 5046 or info@coastalpoly.edu.ng, or check the student portal once you’ve been issued login details.
For background, the last figures we could confirm for Coastal Polytechnic (2023/2024 session) were a Tuition Fee of N78,000 for ND I and an Acceptance Fee of N17,000. Treat these as historical reference points only, not current pricing, Nigerian polytechnic fees have moved substantially since 2023.

Hostel Fee
Students who want campus accommodation need to apply ahead of time. We don’t have a verified current hostel fee figure, confirm with student affairs once admitted.
Getting a Figure From the Bursary
Ask for the schedule in writing rather than over the phone, and request it itemised. A polytechnic total usually bundles registration, ICT, library, examination and laboratory charges, and seeing the lines helps you check the invoice later.
Confirm the account details with the bursary too. A broken public page is exactly the situation in which fraudulent payment instructions tend to circulate.
Why Coastal Polytechnic Figures Are Not Safe to Copy
The problem here is unusual and worth understanding. The official fees page is live but wrong, serving another institution’s template, so a figure found there looks authoritative while describing a different school.
That makes aggregator sites equally unreliable, since many scrape exactly that page. A number repeated across several sites can still trace back to a single broken source.
The 2023/2024 figures of N78,000 tuition and N17,000 acceptance are the last ones genuinely tied to this polytechnic, and they are two sessions old at least.
Call +234 813 815 5046 or email info@coastalpoly.edu.ng for the real amount. We will update this article once the fees page is fixed or a proper circular appears.
