Here’s the current status of the academic calendar for Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.
A previous version of this page carried a detailed day-by-day calendar for an earlier session. The day-of-week and date pairings in that table don’t line up with the current year, so we’ve removed it rather than present mismatched dates as current.
Where to Get the Confirmed Calendar
- Check DELSU’s official website at delsu.edu.ng for the latest approved academic calendar.
- Watch the student portal and departmental notice boards for resumption and registration updates.

What DELSU’s Calendar Typically Covers
Past calendars have followed a structure of: fresh student resumption, medicals and screening, registration, lectures, orientation and matriculation for fresh students, revision week, first-semester exams, a break, second-semester lectures and exams, and a longer break before the next session begins. Expect the 2026/2027 calendar to follow a similar shape once DELSU publishes it, but confirm the actual dates from the sources above.
Check Back
We’ll update this page with confirmed 2026/2027 dates as soon as DELSU publishes them and we can verify them directly.
