The Delta State University (DELSU) Matriculation ceremony is scheduled for 2025/2026 academic session.
The management of Delta State University (DELSU) is pleased to announce the schedule set for the matriculation ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The schedule includes the date, time, venue, and procedure for the collection of academic gowns for REGULAR & DIPLOMA programs for the 2025/2026 academic session of newly admitted candidates.
Below are the schedule details for the DELSU matriculation ceremony.

DELSU 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony has been scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2026, simultaneously on all the Campuses of the University as indicated below:
- ABRAKA CAMPUS:
Time: 9.00 am
Venue: Convocation Arena Behind the Social Sciences Complex, Site III Abraka
Note: Students are to be seated by 8.30 am. - OLEH CAMPUS:
Time: 11:00pm
Venue: 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Engineering
Note: Students are to be seated by 10:30 pm
Consequently, all Faculty Officers are requested to visit the Senate Division from Tuesday, March 15, 2026, for the collection of academic gowns for their matriculating students.
Matriculating students should note that all gowns collected MUST be returned in good condition to the Senate Division not later than Monday, March 21, 2026.
Failing which, the matriculants would pay a penal fee of Five Hundred Naira (N500) for each day, the gown is retained;
while a penalty fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) would be charged as a replacement cost for any gown not returned or damaged.
Matriculating students should also note that on no account must they rent their gowns to photographers, as the University Security operatives have been directed to impound such gowns found with unauthorized persons.
