The administration of the Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo (FUNAI) has officially released the first batch admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. This list comprises the names of candidates who have been granted provisional admission into the university’s diverse degree programs.
The list is accessible online, and two routes lead to the same decision: the university admission portal and JAMB CAPS. Both are described below.
Being a first batch, it is unlikely to be the only release, so a name missing now may appear when the university publishes a later list.

How to Check FUNAI Admission List
- Go to the FUNAI admission list-checking portal
- Enter your JAMB registration number in the required column.
- Click on the ‘Check Admission Status‘ button to access your FUNAI admission status.
- ALL CANDIDATES offered Provisional Admission in the 2026/2027 Session must upload their O’Level results on JAMB Portal. Failure to do this successfully will prevent access to the JAMB Admission Letter on JAMB CAPS.
Candidates successfully admitted into the Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo (FUNAI) first-degree programs are advised to:
- Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
- Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
- Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
- Next, apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.
Alternatively, you can also follow the steps outlined below to check your FUNAI admission status on the JAMB portal:
- Go to the JAMB E-Facility portal.
- Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down, locate, and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
- Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
- Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status to access your FUNAI admission status.

Holding Your FUNAI Ndufu Alike Place
The O-level upload is the condition most often missed. Without it on the JAMB portal, the admission letter stays out of reach on CAPS however the university list reads.
Accept the offer on CAPS once the upload is confirmed, then print the admission letter and original result slip for clearance.
