It is not considered valid if you pay your school fees after the deadline, and you may go through many filing processes to get your money.
The penalty for defaulting is a loss of studentship for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Also, note that the lost session shall form part of the total duration allowed for the Programme.
However, a student who has a genuine reason(s) to apply for Temporary Withdrawal from Studies for the session must follow the due process before the end of the First Semester of the session.

Why Kaura Namoda Charges by Year, Not by Course
Only two figures exist on this schedule. First-year students pay ₦28,000 whether they are on an ND or HND track, and second-year students pay ₦22,000 across both.
Course makes no difference at all, and neither does whether you are entering the National Diploma or the Higher National Diploma. The only thing that moves the figure is which year of the programme you are in.
The ₦6,000 drop in second year reflects the one-off charges attached to entry falling away. Across a two-year diploma, the full tuition cost therefore comes to ₦50,000.
Neither the acceptance fee nor accommodation is published here, so both need confirming with the bursary. Pay before March 2026, since a late payment is not treated as valid and defaulting costs the session.
