We could not verify a reliable second semester academic calendar for Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FPNO) for the 2026/2027 session. Several sites circulate “FPNO 2026/2027” calendars, but their dates contradict each other and don’t hold up when checked against the actual days of the week, so we’re not republishing them here.
FPNO Academic Calendar Status
One widely shared version claims first semester 2026/2027 begins 7th October 2026, with registration and lectures running to 20th December 2026. A separate “amended” version claims revision, exams and an exam end date for the same 2026/2027 session in June and July 2026, months before that first semester would even start. Those two claims can’t both be true, and the specific weekday each site attaches to its dates does not match the real calendar (Monday, for example, often lands on a date that was actually a Sunday). That is a strong sign of recycled or guessed dates rather than a genuine Rector-approved circular, so we are deliberately not listing exam or lecture dates here.
