The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) in Ekiti State has successfully obtained full accreditation for five academic programs.
These programs include Accounting, Business Administration, Library and Information Science, Education Mathematics, and Criminology and Security Studies.
Maryam Salli, the Director of Accreditation at the National Universities Commission (NUC), conveyed this accreditation in a letter dated April 14th 2025.
Addressed to Prof. Abayomi Sunday Fasina, the Vice-Chancellor of FUOYE, the letter affirms the NUC’s approval of full accreditation for the mentioned courses.
The correspondence emphasizes the NUC’s statutory responsibility for accrediting academic programs in Nigerian Universities, as stated in the letter titled “Results of October/November Accreditation of Academic Programmes in Nigerian Universities.”
