How Much Is FUPRE School Fees?
As of this writing, FUPRE has not published a confirmed undergraduate fee schedule for 2026/2027 that we can independently verify, even though admission for the session is already underway. What we can verify, cross-checked across several independent sources that agree on the same figures, is the previous (2025/2026) session’s schedule, which looked like this:
| Charge | New Students | Returning Students |
| Verification Fee | ₦12,000 | – |
| Registration | ₦5,000 | ₦4,000 |
| Examination | ₦6,000 | ₦5,000 |
| Endowment | ₦10,000 | ₦10,000 |
| ID Card | ₦1,000 | ₦1,000 |
| Medical Charges | ₦3,000 | ₦2,000 |
| TISHIP (Health Insurance) | ₦2,000 | ₦2,000 |
| Medical Screening | ₦5,000 | – |
| Sports | ₦5,000 | ₦2,000 |
| Matriculation | ₦10,000 | – |
| Library | ₦6,000 | ₦3,050 |
| Caution Fee | ₦20,000 | – |
| Laboratory/Workshop Levy | ₦10,000 | ₦5,000 |
| ICT | ₦5,000 | ₦3,000 |
| Utility | ₦10,000 | ₦10,000 |
| Facility Maintenance | ₦10,000 | ₦10,000 |
| Total (2025/2026) | ₦120,000 | ₦57,050 |
Treat that table as the old, verified 2025/2026 figure, not a guess at 2026/2027. FUPRE fees tend to be departmental, so your actual invoice may differ a little from the university-wide figure above depending on your course. Confirm the current 2026/2027 schedule on the student portal at fupre.edu.ng before paying anything.
How Much Is FUPRE Postgraduate School Fees?
FUPRE’s postgraduate fee structure has historically followed this pattern, again from the verified 2025/2026 schedule and not yet confirmed for 2026/2027:
| Item | PGD | M.Sc/M.Eng | Ph.D |
| Application Form | ₦15,000 | ₦15,000 | ₦15,000 |
| Acceptance Fee | ₦50,000 | ₦50,000 | ₦50,000 |
| SPGS Prospectus | ₦10,000 | ₦10,000 | ₦10,000 |

How Much Is the FUPRE Acceptance Fee?
For the 2026/2027 academic session, FUPRE has set the undergraduate acceptance fee at ₦65,000, non-refundable, for successfully admitted 100 Level and Direct Entry candidates.
This figure is consistent across the sources we checked and higher than the ₦85,000 to ₦50,000 range reported for earlier sessions in different programmes, so pay close attention to the exact amount on your own admission letter.
You need to pay the acceptance fee before you can print your admission notification letter and proceed with registration.
How Much Is FUPRE Hostel Fee?
Hostel spaces at FUPRE are limited and allocated through an application process ahead of resumption. The last verified rate we found was around ₦30,000 per session, but FUPRE has not published a confirmed hostel fee for 2026/2027, so check with the student affairs office or the portal before paying.
Other FUPRE Charges
FUPRE also runs Basic Studies, Foundation, and Centre for Safety Education (CSE) programmes with their own fee structures, plus one-off charges such as a ₦15,000 field trip fee for affected students, a ₦15,000 convocation fee, and transcript and verification charges in the ₦5,000 to ₦10,000 range.
These have not changed much from one session to the next, but confirm the exact figure on the portal since the university can adjust them without much notice.
Verifying Your Own FUPRE Invoice
Since FUPRE has not published a verified 2026/2027 undergraduate schedule, the 2025/2026 totals shown above remain the only confirmed reference point. Postgraduate charges, the ₦65,000 acceptance fee and hostel costs each carry their own confirmation status.
Checking the fupre.edu.ng student portal against your specific department and level is the surest way to avoid paying the wrong amount this session.
