This is to inform all the staff and students of Kogi State University (KSU) that the institution’s management has released the academic calendar for the first and second semesters of the 2024/2025 academic session.

KSU Academic Calendar – 1st Semester

• 30/01/2025: Arrival of returning and new students
• 31/01/2025: Normal registration begins for returning and new students
• 07/02/2025: Lecture Begins
• 14/02/2025: Submission of registration form begins
• 15/02/2025: Late registration begins
• 21/02/2025: Late registration/Submission of registration forms end
• 02/05/2025: Lectures end (13 weeks of Lectures)
• 09/05/2025: Examination begin in all faculties: Regular
• 28/05/2025: Examination interwoven with GST Examinations taken on Mondays and Fridays for level involved in GST
• 30/05/2025: CBT Examination begins in all Faculties of Natural Sciences, Agriculture, and Education
• 06/06/2025: CBT Examination ends in all Faculties of Natural Sciences, Agriculture, and Education

KSU Academic Calendar – 2nd Semester

• 19/06/2025: Resumption for the second semester
• 20/06/2025: Registration of courses begins
• 27/06/2025: Registration ends, and Lectures begin
• 26/06/2025: Late registration of courses begins
• 04/07/2025: Late registration of courses ends
• 26/09/2025: Lectures end (13 weeks of Lectures)

• 03/10/2025: Examination begins in all faculties: Regular
• 24/10/2025: Examination interwoven with GST/EDS Examinations taken on Mondays and Fridays for level involved in GST/EDS
• 25/10/2025: CBT Examination begins in all Faculties of Natural
• 29/10/2025: CBT Examination ends in all Faculties of Natural
• 30/10/2025: End of the 2024/2025 Session
