Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) was upgraded to a full university in 2022 and is now officially the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu. The institution is also phasing out fresh intake into ND/HND programmes in favour of B.Sc and B.Tech degree programmes, so the fee structure students see for 2026/2027 looks different from the old polytechnic rates.
How Much Is LASPOTECH (LASUSTECH) School Fees?
LASUSTECH hasn’t published an official 2026/2027 fee schedule on its own website that we could verify. Reported figures for the new degree programmes vary by level, roughly ₦80,000 to ₦120,000 a session, but we couldn’t confirm these against a bursary document, so treat them as rough estimates rather than your actual bill.
For background, the previously confirmed rates under the old polytechnic structure were ₦20,950 for ND and ₦28,000 for HND per session. Those figures predate the university conversion and no longer apply to fresh students entering the new degree programmes.
Lagos State indigenes typically pay a subsidised rate compared to non-indigenes at state-owned institutions like this one, so your exact figure also depends on your state of origin as recorded on your admission documents. Confirm your real 2026/2027 bill through the student portal or admissions office rather than relying on a third-party estimate.
How Much Is LASPOTECH (LASUSTECH) Acceptance Fee?
The previously confirmed acceptance fee was ₦15,000. Some recent sources quote closer to ₦30,000 for the new degree intake, but we couldn’t verify that figure against an official schedule. New intakes should check the amount stated on their own admission letter before paying.
