That’s a full-session total of N459,000 for returning students. These totals are noticeably higher than what Legacy University charged a couple of sessions ago, which tracks with the broader rise in private university fees across Nigeria over the same period.

How Much Is Legacy University Acceptance Fee?

Legacy University’s current published fee schedule doesn’t list a separate acceptance fee line item. It was previously N20,000, bundled into the registration process.

Confirm the exact current figure with admissions before you pay, since it may now be folded into the first-semester charges above or handled as a separate one-time invoice.

How Much Is Legacy University Hostel Fee?

Accommodation is already built into the semester totals above at N35,000 per semester (N70,000 for the session) for students who choose campus housing. Students who want to stay in hostel accommodation should apply early, since space is limited.

Why Legacy University Returners Pay More Than Freshers

Most schedules make the first year the expensive one. Legacy University does the opposite, with freshers at N409,000 for the session and returning students at N459,000, a difference of N50,000.

Two rows explain all of it. ICT rises from N10,000 to N25,000 and the laboratory, studio and workshop charge from N10,000 to N20,000, and both are billed in each semester rather than once.

Every other line stays the same across both groups. Tuition holds at N79,000 a semester and accommodation at N35,000, which is N70,000 across the session for anyone taking campus housing.

The second semester is also the lighter half for everyone, since library, sanitation, caution, sports, welfare, records, maintenance, development, faculty, departmental and NHIS charges all fall in the first.
