If you registered for the MIAPOLY post-UTME screening exercise for the 2026/2027 session, the next step on your mind is almost certainly your result. Mai-Idris Alooma Polytechnic (MIAPOLY) has now made these scores available online.
A post-UTME score on its own does not guarantee admission, but it is one half of the aggregate score that most departments use when they shortlist candidates for the final list.
Below, we break down exactly how to log in to the MIAPOLY portal, what information you will need on hand, and what to do if your score does not appear immediately.
MIAPOLY post-UTME results have been successfully uploaded to the university portal.

Common Checking Mistakes
A surprising number of candidates fail to see their result simply because of a typing error, not because anything is wrong with the portal.
Double-check your JAMB registration number character by character before you submit it, since a single wrong digit or letter will fail silently and just return a blank page.
It also helps to use a stable internet connection and a modern browser, since some older phone browsers struggle to load university result portals correctly.
If the Portal Will Not Load
Result portals in Nigeria tend to experience heavy traffic in the hours right after a release, so if a page times out, it is often congestion rather than a fault on your end.
Try again after a short while, preferably outside peak hours such as early morning or late evening, and clear your browser cache if the page keeps showing an old error.
If the problem persists for more than a day or two, it is worth reaching out to the school’s admissions office directly rather than continuing to refresh the page.
Staying Safe Online
Unfortunately, admission season also attracts scammers who claim they can guarantee you a result or a place for a fee.
No legitimate Nigerian institution asks for payment from a third party in exchange for a result or an admission slot, so treat any such message as a red flag.
Always use the school’s official portal link rather than a link forwarded to you on social media or through a messaging app.
What’s Left to Do
With your MIAPOLY post-UTME result in hand, the next thing to track is the admission list for the 2026/2027 session, since that is where you will find out whether your score was enough.
Keep checking this page and the school’s official channels for updates, and never pay anyone outside the official portal for help with your result or your admission.
