Nigerian British University (NBU) has now published its official school fees for first-year students for the 2026/2027 Academic Session at nbu.edu.ng. This page previously said the figures weren’t public; they are now, and we’ve pulled them straight from the university’s own tuition page.
Newly admitted and returning students are advised to pay all required fees before the deadline the school sets each session.
Nigeria British University School Fees and Registration Deadline
Paying after the deadline is not considered valid, and late payers may have to go through extra filing processes to sort their records out. The penalty for defaulting is a loss of studentship for the 2026/2027 Academic Session, and a lost session counts toward the total duration allowed for your programme.
A student with a genuine reason to apply for Temporary Withdrawal from studies for the session must follow the due process before the end of the first semester.
How Much Is Nigeria British University School Fees?
NBU charges a total fee that bundles tuition, development levy, accommodation, and other charges. Here is the official 2026/2027 breakdown for first-year students, paid in instalments (minimum 50% upfront, balance before the second semester):

Add up the printed components on any row and you land exactly ₦40,000 below the stated total. Law comes to ₦3,110,000 against a total of ₦3,150,000, and the same ₦40,000 gap appears on every programme.
That figure matches the non-refundable acceptance fee precisely, which suggests the totals already absorb it. Confirm this with the bursary rather than budgeting for ₦40,000 twice.
Two rows carry no tuition figure at all. Management and Social Sciences and Medical Laboratory Science show totals of ₦1,894,963 and ₦2,229,963 that balance without a tuition line, so ask NBU what those cover.
Accommodation is fixed at ₦876,000 for everyone and already sits inside the total, so there is no separate hostel charge. With a minimum of fifty percent due upfront, a Medicine entrant needs roughly ₦2.52 million before resumption.
