Getting Ready Before You Log In
Before you even open the portal, have your JAMB registration number, email address, and phone number on hand, since most systems ask for at least one of these to confirm your identity.
It helps to do this on a laptop or desktop where possible, since larger screens make it easier to read result pages that are not always optimised for mobile devices.
If you no longer remember the login details you used during registration, check the confirmation email or SMS you received when you first applied.
Staying Safe Online

No legitimate Nigerian institution asks for payment from a third party in exchange for a result or an admission slot, so treat any such message as a red flag.
Always use the school’s official portal link rather than a link forwarded to you on social media or through a messaging app.
Common Checking Mistakes
A surprising number of candidates fail to see their result simply because of a typing error, not because anything is wrong with the portal.
Double-check your JAMB registration number character by character before you submit it, since a single wrong digit or letter will fail silently and just return a blank page.
It also helps to use a stable internet connection and a modern browser, since some older phone browsers struggle to load university result portals correctly.
