Dr. Odetayo has been appointed by the Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY) Iree as the new rector of the institution.
He was the Institution’s Deputy Rector prior to this appointment. The Polytechnic Board of Studies elected him as Deputy Rector about two years ago.
Dr Odetayo was born on June 22, 1962. He is from Ode-Omu in the State’s Ayedaade Local Government Area.
Dr. Odetayo is a Chief Lecturer in the Accounting Department. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Planning and Policy from the University of Ibadan.
He also has a Doctorate Degree in Management Science from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso.
He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Bankers. Dr. Odetayo also belongs to the Nigeria Institute of Taxation.
He is an astute scholar, having published 24 journal articles, ten conference papers, and six books.
