The Polytechnic Ibadan (POLY IBADAN) has not published a fees circular for the 2026/2027 academic session that we could verify, and the school’s website was not loading for us to check directly.
The breakdown below is the last schedule we could trace, set out by level and semester. Treat it as background while you confirm the current amount on the school portal.

Some third-party listings now quote full-session totals of around ₦64,000 to ₦80,000 by level, while others go as high as ₦169,000 to ₦215,000 for the same programmes.
A spread of more than double between sources means none of it is confirmed. Treat every figure here, the table above included, as a planning reference rather than your actual bill.

How Much Is The Polytechnic Ibadan Acceptance Fee?
The last confirmed acceptance fee was ₦10,000, though some newer listings quote ₦32,500. Given the gap, confirm the exact figure on your admission letter before paying. New intakes must clear the acceptance fee to be considered admitted.
How Much Is The Polytechnic Ibadan Hostel Fee?
Poly Ibadan hasn’t published a current hostel accommodation rate that we could verify. Students who want campus accommodation should apply early and confirm pricing with the halls of residence office.
Adding Both Semesters on the Poly Ibadan Table
The table prices each semester separately, so the session figure takes two steps. An indigene ND 1 student pays ₦28,200 then ₦19,000, giving ₦47,200, while the HND 1 equivalent reaches ₦53,500.
Residency adds a flat ₦5,000 a session at every level. Non-indigene ND 1 students reach ₦52,200 and HND 1 students ₦58,500, and the gap does not widen as you progress.
Add the compulsory charges of ₦4,500, ₦3,700 and ₦2,100 plus a ₦10,000 acceptance fee and an indigene ND 1 fresher lands near ₦67,500, which sits inside the lower band third parties quote.
That coincidence is encouraging but not proof. The DPP part-time route costs considerably more at ₦69,800 for ND 1, and we will update this page once The Polytechnic Ibadan confirms its 2026/2027 schedule.
