Sokoto State University (SSU) has not announced a matriculation ceremony date for new students admitted in the 2026/2027 academic session yet.
The university only began online Post-UTME/DE screening for the 2026/2027 admission cycle in August, and the admission list is still being processed through JAMB CAPS. Matriculation, the formal induction ceremony where new students are officially enrolled and take the matriculation oath, is held after admissions have fully settled, so it typically lags several months behind the admission list.
When Is SSU Matriculation Ceremony Date 2026
There is no confirmed date yet. In past sessions, SSU has held matriculation well after the start of lectures, once registration and clearance for fresh students are complete. We’ll update this page as soon as the university’s management publishes an official date.
SSU Course Registration Deadline
Attendance at matriculation is mandatory for new students once a date is announced.
All admitted students should keep checking the school’s official channels and get in touch with the Secretaries of their respective Faculties about academic gowns and other formalities once the ceremony is scheduled.
If you’ve attended the Sokoto State University orientation, matriculation will follow once the school finalizes the date.
