Newly admitted and returning students are advised to pay up all the fees required by the school before the deadline.

TECH-U School Fees and Registration Deadline
The Technical University (TECH-U) has announced the deadline for payment of fees. The deadline for fees is March 2026.
If you pay your school fees after the deadline, it is not considered valid, and you may go through a lot of filing processes to get your money.
The penalty for defaulting is a loss of studentship for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Also, note that the lost session shall form part of the total duration allowed for the Programme.
However, a student who has a genuine reason(s) to apply for Temporary Withdrawal from Studies for the session must follow the due process before the end of the First Semester of the session.

What a TECH-U Fresher Owes Before and After the Service Charge
The Technical University bills freshers in two stages. The N149,000 admission service charge comes first as a one-off payment, and only then does the main schedule apply, bringing a first-year student to N1,148,500 overall.
Returning students pay the N999,500 grand total without that opening charge. Tuition accounts for N400,000 of it, with the remaining N599,500 spread across academic, municipal and processing lines.
Accommodation and municipal services at N200,000 is the single largest item after tuition, and the bus service, parent forum and association dues bring that section to N227,500. A further N50,000 covers Paytech charges.
Only one payment route is accepted, and that is the student portal. Settle everything before the March 2026 deadline, since a late payment is not counted as valid and a defaulted session still runs down your programme duration.
