The Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUSOK) management has announced the deadline for payment of school fees and registration for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Newly admitted and returning students are advised to pay up all the fees required by the school before the deadline.
UDUSOK School Fees and Registration Deadline
The Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUSOK), has announced the deadline for payment of fees. The deadline for fees is March 2026.
If you pay your school fees after the deadline, it is not considered valid, and you may go through many filing processes to get your money.
The penalty for defaulting is losing studentship for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. Also, note that the lost session shall form part of the total duration allowed for the Programme.
However, a student who has a genuine reason to apply for Temporary Withdrawal from studies for the session must follow the due process before the end of the First Semester.
How Much Is UDUSOK School Fees?
UDUSOK school fees vary depending on the programme you are enrolled in. The official udusok.edu.ng site was unreachable while we checked, but cross-sourced reporting for the current round of federal university fee reviews puts fresh-student fees in the N41,700 to N65,700 range, a modest step up from the older N35,000 (non-science) to N55,000 (science) figures.
On average, a fresher should still budget about N100,000 for their first-year costs once hostel and miscellaneous charges are included.
Here is a breakdown of the standard miscellaneous charges that apply on top of tuition for freshers:
- Student ID card – 1,000 naira.
- Sports fee – 1,000 naira.

- Lab fee (science students only) – 10,000 naira.
- Examination fee – 2,500 naira.
- Matric gown – 1,000 naira.
- Result verification – 5,000 naira.
- Faculty journal – 2,000 naira.

UDUSOK School Fees For Part-Time Students
The tuition fee for UDUSOK part-time students has historically ranged between N70,000 and N320,000 depending on the course, with part-time postgraduate study going up to around N200,000. These figures have not been independently reconfirmed for 2026/2027.
How Much Is UDUSOK Acceptance Fee?
UDUSOK’s acceptance fee is N20,000 for most undergraduate freshers, with Health Sciences and Technology programmes charged N25,000. New intakes must pay their acceptance fee to be considered students, and should confirm the current amount on the admission portal since it is non-refundable.
How Much Is UDUSOK Hostel Fee?
Students who want to stay in the hostel accommodations made available by the school authorities would have to apply before time.
UDUSOK’s hostel accommodation fee has been reported around N20,000 for an academic session. Considering the price of housing in Sokoto, that’s still fairly affordable, though rooms are often shared with up to 10 students per room and shared bathrooms and toilets, so don’t expect hostel life to be as comfortable as living off-campus.
Treating These UDUSOK Figures as a Starting Point, Not a Final Bill
Almost every number on this page comes from cross-sourced reporting rather than a live reading of udusok.edu.ng, which was unreachable when we checked. Treat the ranges as a planning guide and let your faculty’s entry on the student portal settle the actual amount.
The miscellaneous charges are the part students most often underestimate. Added together, the ID card, sports, IT, examination, TISHIP, library, endowment, verification and departmental lines push a fresher’s real first-year outlay well past tuition alone, which is why the N100,000 budget figure exists.
Acceptance fees are non-refundable, so confirm whether your programme falls under the N20,000 band or the N25,000 Health Sciences and Technology band before transferring anything. Paying the wrong amount is harder to unwind than checking twice.
Finally, keep the March 2026 deadline in view. Late payment is not treated as valid at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, and a defaulted session still counts against the total duration allowed for your programme.
