The Professional Career Development in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity program is a collaboration between the International Academy of Forensics and the University of Lagos’ Centre for Information Technology and Systems (CITS), and is open to both the University community and the general public to apply.
The programme is a professional qualification rather than a degree, so it sits outside the JAMB process and applicants deal directly with CITS and the academy.
Two study modes are offered, and they differ in length as well as timetable, which matters for anyone fitting the training around existing work.
What is the Duration of the Programme?
The programme duration is as follows:
Full-Time (Daily): Six (6) Months (Monday to Friday)
9:00a.m – 4:00p.m
Part-Time (Saturdays): Twelve (12) Months
9:00a.m – 5:30 p.m.

- A Professional Diploma Certificate by CITS, University of Lagos
- A Membership Certificate of the International Academy of Forensics (IAF)

Note that the application form fee and the tuition are separate charges, and both are paid to the UNILAG Consult account given above rather than through a university portal.
Keep every payment receipt, since enrolment is confirmed against them and the training office works from the record rather than from your word.
Check the minimum qualification before paying anything, because a National Diploma is the entry floor and applications below it will not be considered.
