The harmattan semester dates above come directly from UNILORIN’s official academic calendar announcement. The university’s own announcement describes the mid-session break as running from 26 February to 14 March 2027, and matriculation as falling on 27 November 2026, though the day-of-week labels attached to those two dates in the announcement do not match the actual calendar (27 November 2026 is a Friday, and 14 March 2027 is a Sunday, not the Monday and Friday stated). The dates themselves are reproduced as released; students should treat the numeric dates as authoritative and disregard the day-name discrepancy.
Full rain semester details beyond the start and end dates, including lecture and examination periods, had not been broken down in UNILORIN’s announcement at the time of this update. We will add them here once released.
