One condition sets this course apart from other commercial departments. Among your five O’Level credits, one of the two free subjects must be a Science subject.
That catches out candidates who come through with an entirely commercial set of results, so it is worth checking before anything else.

The Science Credit UNIZIK Banking and Finance Quietly Requires
The O’Level requirement is five credits including English Language, Mathematics and Economics, plus two further subjects of which at least one must be a Science subject.
Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Agricultural Science would each satisfy that condition. A file built only from Commerce, Government and Principles of Accounts would not.
The credits must also come from no more than two sittings, a separate condition applied when your results are verified.
The JAMB combination is far looser. Use of English and Mathematics are compulsory, one Social Science subject is required, and the fourth paper is open.
On scores, UNIZIK requires 200 and above in JAMB and this department requires 200 and above again in the school post UTME examination. Neither figure leaves any margin.
