Forensic Sciences at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has its entry rules below, covering the O’Level subject combination, the JAMB papers, the university JAMB score and the departmental cut-off mark.
Unlike several of its neighbours in the same faculty, this department does not raise the bar at screening. Both the university figure and the departmental figure sit at 200.
The subject side allows nothing to be substituted, naming all five O’Level credits and requiring them from no more than two sittings.

UNIZIK Forensic Sciences Holds Both Marks at 200
The O’Level requirement is five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics, with no optional place.
The JAMB papers are Use of English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry, repeating four of those five credits.
Mathematics is the only compulsory credit not tested at UTME, so there is nothing additional to prepare for the examination.
The two sittings rule is the condition most likely to catch out an otherwise strong candidate, and it is checked when results are verified rather than at registration.
Because both figures are identical, there is no safety margin built into this course. A candidate who scrapes 200 in JAMB has nothing in hand for the screening stage.
Clear 200 in JAMB and 200 again in the school post UTME examination. Confirm your sittings position and all five credits before you apply, since neither can be fixed after the window closes.
