Admission requirements for the Department of Social Work at the University of Calabar have been published, covering the O’Level credits, the JAMB UTME papers, the Direct Entry route and the JAMB score.

Social Work has the lightest subject requirements of any UNICAL department on this site. Only English Language and Mathematics are named at O’Level, and Direct Entry accepts A level passes in any subject.
That makes it a realistic option for candidates whose results do not fit a conventional arts or science profile.
