This is to inform all Direct Entry applicants seeking admission into the various undergraduate programs offered by Yobe State University (YSU) that the Direct Entry admission lists have been made public by the institution’s administration.

Direct Entry candidates come in on the strength of an earlier qualification rather than a UTME score, which is why their list is published separately from the UTME intake.
This is the first batch for the session, so a name absent from it is not a refusal. Later releases commonly add candidates as places are confirmed.
How to Check YSU Direct Entry, Admission List
Yobe State University has extended a provisional admission offer to the under-listed Direct Entry candidates for its First Degree Programs for the Academic Session 2026/2027.

- They can accept or reject their admission by logging into the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
- After accepting the admission, they should print their JAMB admission letter.
- If students are offered courses other than the ones they originally applied for, they should use the JAMB Portal to request a change of course.

Completing YSU Direct Entry Acceptance
At this point, we assume that you have gotten all the information on the YSU Direct Entry 1st Batch admission list and how to check your admission status.
Two documents are involved and they come from different places. The provisional admission letter is printed on the university portal, while the JAMB admission letter follows acceptance on CAPS.
Keep your original diploma or earlier degree documents with those letters, since Direct Entry clearance turns on verifying the qualification that won you the place.
Candidates who print the first and skip the second are still treated as unadmitted by JAMB, so work through both before turning to clearance.
We urge you to keep tabs with us as subsequent lists will be uploaded and updated in due time.
