UNILAG

The school has maintained one of the most competitive in the country regarding admissions. UNILAG has one of the largest student population sizes of any university in the country.

In this article, we will list the requirements candidates must meet to study Physiotherapy at the University of Lagos, ranging from O’level subject combination, JAMB Score and Post UTME Score, and departmental cut-Off mark.

To study Physiotherapy, candidates must meet the following requirements.

The page sets out three routes, namely the O’level credits, the four UTME papers and the Direct Entry option, along with the JAMB score the university expects from every applicant.

O’Level Subject Combination

Below is the UTME Requirement for Physiotherapy;

  • Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

JAMB Subject Combination

Below is the UTME/JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION for Physiotherapy;

  • English Language(*), Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Direct Entry Requirement For Physiotherapy

Below is the DIRECT ENTRY (DE) Requirement for Physiotherapy;

  • Two (2) ‘A’ level passes chosen from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

JAMB Score

For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Lagos, the Candidate must score 200 and above in JAMB.

No Substitutions at UNILAG Physiotherapy

This department offers no alternative subject at any stage. Physics, Chemistry and Biology are named at O’level, at UTME and at Direct Entry, with nothing accepted in their place.

Mathematics is the only subject that behaves differently. It is required among the five O’level credits yet appears in neither of the later lists.

Direct Entry simply asks for two A’level passes drawn from the same three sciences, which means one of them can be dropped on that route but not at O’level.

The score requirement is clear. A candidate must reach 200 and above in JAMB to be admitted to any department at the University of Lagos.

Confirm the five O’level credits first, then your four JAMB papers, since neither list leaves room for a late change of subject.
