The University of Benin (UNIBEN) released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session on 14 August 2026, following Post-UTME screening held between 27 July and 1 August 2026. Candidates can check their status on JAMB CAPS or the university’s official waeup.uniben.edu portal.
If you sat for the Post-UTME screening or applied through Direct Entry, check your status now rather than waiting on word of mouth. Names are usually added in batches, so a candidate not on the first list isn’t necessarily left out for good.
Admission at this stage is provisional until candidates accept their offer on JAMB CAPS and complete registration with the university, so treat the current list as the first step rather than the final word on your admission.
