The admission list for the academic session 2024/2025 at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has been released for applicants. If you have applied to study at the university, it is imperative to check if your name has been shortlisted for admission.
This is an official announcement to all candidates who participated in the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, 2024/2025 Post UTME screening exercise that they can now verify their admission status online.
The OAU admission list is accessible on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal.
How to Check the OAU Admission List
OAU prospective students can only access their admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below.
- Go to the JAMB admission portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/.
- Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down, locate, and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
- Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
- Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status to access your OAU admission status.
Once the list is uploaded to the university website, you can follow the procedure below;
- Go to your OAU admission status-checking portal.
- Enter your admission year in the required column.
- Supply your JAMB registration number where required.
- Finally, click the ‘Submit’ button to access your OAU admission status.
Candidates successfully admitted into the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) first-degree programs are advised to:
- Go to the University website, OAU, to check for the requirements and procedures for clearance.
- Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
- Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
- Print their original Jamb result slip(this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
- Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.
