Ambrose Alli University (AAU) hasn’t confirmed a fresh fees circular for the 2026/2027 academic session. The detailed breakdown below is the last fully itemised schedule we could trace, by faculty and department, shown as background while you confirm the current amount on the AAU fees portal.

More recent fee estimates circulating for AAU put fresher tuition noticeably higher than this, roughly ₦150,000 to ₦350,000 depending on faculty, which would track with the nationwide tuition increases most Nigerian public universities have made since 2023.
We couldn’t confirm an exact current figure from an official circular, so treat both sets of numbers as context and confirm your department’s real total on the AAU fees portal (aaue.waeup.org) before paying.
Additional Fees
On top of school fees, AAU has previously charged a few small flat fees: a ₦10,000 concessional fee, ₦800 for an AAU lapel/file, ₦2,000 for the matriculation gown, ₦1,000 in Students’ Union dues, and ₦500 for AAU Student Welfare Assurance.
How Much Is AAU Acceptance Fee?
AAU’s acceptance fee has previously been ₦79,300 for Medicine and Surgery and ₦64,300 for other courses. New intakes must pay this to be considered admitted, but confirm the current amount on your admission letter first.
How Much Is AAU Hostel Fee?
AAU’s hostel fee has previously been around ₦25,000 per session. Students who want campus accommodation should apply early and confirm current availability and pricing with the halls of residence office.
We’ll update this page once AAU confirms its official 2026/2027 fees schedule.
Confirming Your Real AAU Fee Before Paying
Because AAU has not issued a fresh 2026/2027 circular, the safest approach is to treat the last traceable breakdown and the higher informal estimates as two reference points rather than a final answer. Your department’s exact total still needs confirmation on the AAU fees portal.
Acceptance, hostel and the small flat charges listed above have historically stayed close to the figures shown here, so new intakes can budget around them while waiting for the official schedule to appear.
