Education and Computer Science is taught under the Faculty of Education at Adamawa State University. Mathematics is the one subject required at every stage, and Physics joins it in the UTME combination.
The O’Level line names six subjects for five credits, with Biology and Agricultural Science offered as alternatives to each other at the end of the list.
Confirm that Education and Computer Science appears on the current ADSU course list and that your JAMB registration records it correctly before you sit the examination.

Mathematics Holds Every Stage of ADSU Education and Computer Science
The O’Level requirement is five SSCE credits in Mathematics, Chemistry, English Language, Physics, and Biology or Agricultural Science. The final pair is the only choice offered at that stage.
Chemistry is required at secondary school level but is never named again. It does not appear in the UTME combination or in the Direct Entry condition.
The UTME combination keeps English Language compulsory, fixes Physics and Mathematics, and leaves the third paper open to any other science subject.
Direct Entry asks for two ‘A’ Level or NCE passes including Mathematics and one other science subject. Physics drops away at that level, leaving Mathematics as the sole named requirement.
A JAMB score of 180 and above is the screening threshold for the 2026/2027 session at ADSU and applies whichever route a candidate takes.
