Covenant University (CU) has not announced an undergraduate resumption date for the 2026/2027 academic session yet. The School of Postgraduate Studies has confirmed September 2026 for its own programmes, but that date is specific to postgraduate admissions and doesn’t apply to undergraduates.
Covenant University Resumption Date 2026/2027: Current Status
For the 2025/2026 session, returning students resumed on Saturday and Sunday, 27 and 28 September 2025, with freshers following two weeks later on 12 and 13 October 2025. That’s a reasonable guide to CU’s usual pattern, staggered resumption a few weeks apart, but it isn’t a confirmed date for 2026/2027.
Covenant publishes its resumption protocols through its own portal once the Senate approves the dates for a new session. We’ll update this page with the confirmed 2026/2027 date as soon as it’s out.
