The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has set Monday, 12th October 2026 as the resumption date for first-semester academic activities in the 2026/2027 session, with both fresh and returning students expected back on that date.
ESUT Academic Calendar for 2026/2027: What’s Confirmed
This lines up with ESUT’s own 2026/2027 calendar document for the previous session, which closed out the long vacation in late July 2026 and projected an early-October start for the next session. Multiple Nigerian education news outlets independently reported the resumption as Monday, 12th October 2026, and the registrar’s office has told faculty to begin lectures and continuous assessment without delay once students resume.
What hasn’t been published yet is the rest of the 2026/2027 calendar: registration deadlines, mid-semester break, first-semester exam dates and the second semester schedule. We’ll add those here once ESUT’s academic calendar page is updated with the full session.
