FUKASHERE is located in Kashere, a town in Gombe State in Northeastern Nigeria.
It has no religious affiliations, and students from across the country are welcome to apply. FUKAHSERE offers courses in the following discipline; Education, Science, Agriculture and Social Sciences.
It was established by the deferral Government to function as a University in 2011.
Admission Requirements for Education and History
WAEC/NECO Subject Combination
The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Education and History is Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, History and three (3) relevant Arts subjects.
JAMB Subject Combination
In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.
Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Education and History under the Faculty of Education at FUKASHERE include;
History and any other two (2) subjects chosen from Christian Religious Studies / Islamic Studies, Literature in English, French, Yoruba, Geography/Physics, Economics, Government and Hausa.
Direct Entry Requirement
These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and History if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
Two (2) NCE merit/’A’ Level passes in History and one (1) other relevant Arts subject.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUKASHERE for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
